Short-Term / Respite Stays
Offering temporary stays of 30-60 days to assist individuals who may need continued assistance after a hospital or rehabilitation stay. Respite care is also an option when family caregivers need time away to travel or address their own personal needs. Rehabilitative therapies are provided in your private rooms.
On-Site Medical Services
We offer on-site rehabilitation care at Hidden Meadows on the Ridge. Services provided are OT - Occupational Therapy, PT- Physical Therapy and Speech Therapy. Whether you need rehab after a hospital stay, or ongoing strengthening therapy your needs will be met by our clinical staff. In addition, primary care physicians, podiatrists, mental health professionals, laboratory and x-ray services are available and collaborate with our licensed professional nurses and medical director.
On-Site Therapy by Good Shepherd Rehabilitation
Good Shepherd Rehabilitation is proud to serve as the rehabilitation provider for all Hidden Meadows residents. Our on-site full-time therapists provide the same quality of care that has earned Good Shepherd a national reputation as a rehabilitation leader. Conveniently located in the Laurels Building, Good Shepherd Rehabilitation offers comprehensive, individualized rehabilitation services including:
- Physical TherapyGood Shepherd’s physical therapy staff develops a plan of care that is specifically designed for you to improve and restore strength, balance, walking and mobility, achieve fall reduction and reduce pain. Therapists can evaluate for proper assistive devices, including performing wheelchair fittings.
- Occupational Therapy Our occupational therapy staff will help improve your functional abilities with dressing and bathing, arm strength, cognition for task performance and teach energy conservation techniques. Our staff also can help with pain relief and restoring the function of arthritic hands.
- Speech Therapy Speech therapy staff offers various diagnostic and therapeutic approaches for language, speech, cognitive and swallowing difficulties.
